The Greater Atlanta Area Chapter 9th & 10th (Horse) Cavalry Association, Inc. will be comprised of Active Riding Members - those members who will participate in Troop activities to include riding exhibitions, oral presentations, and all other functions. Active Riding Members have the privilege to vote on all issues. Active Non-Riding Members – have the privilege to vote on all issues with the exception of those that pertain to riding events. Associate Members will not have any voting privileges. They will not be required to ride but will perform in the capacity of administrative staff with no voting privileges. Honorary Members – those members who will be appointed at the discretion of the Membership Committee with full approval of the membership. These members may be allowed to ride or participate in functions; no voting privileges will be granted. Further, this association is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
